Peel Region's public libraries offer books, magazines, audio CDs and DVD movies that you can borrow for free. Library cards are free to all residents across Ontario. To borrow and reserve materials and have access to the library's online database, you must get a library card.
Libraries also have many social groups and programs for children and adults, including story readings, arts and crafts, language and computer programs, art exhibits and other events. To help newcomers, the Mississauga Library and the Brampton Library offer free multicultural programs for adults.
