After you receive your permanent residency papers the pre-arrival services can help you:

- Learn about English/French language skills and other skills for adapting to Canadian society
- Access labour market information and make connections
You can register for services from as many different service providers as you need, and at no charge.
ACCES - Canadian Employment Connections provides online services to help internationally educated newcomers find jobs in engineering, financial services, human resources, information technology, sales and marketing, and supply chain. Services available in English.
Active Engagement and Integration Program (AEIP) provides settlement and employment related orientation sessions to newcomers. AEIP's service centres are located in China, South Korea and Taiwan with outreach services in Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, United States of America and Vietnam. In addition, online services are available on demand. AEIP services are available in English, French, Chinese and Korean.
Build ON helps prepare new immigrants to work in the skilled trades in Ontario, before arriving to Canada.
Canadian Apprenticeship Forum helps newcomers prepare for apprenticeships and find work in skilled trades professions. Services are offered online in English and French.
Food Processing Skills Canada offers skilled individuals in their home countries the tools and knowledge needed to work in the food and beverage industry. Services are offered online in English and French.
Next Stop Canada provides two online services to newcomers. One for newcomers aged 16 years and older and a second for youth aged 12 to 19 years. You can get settlement information, register for orientation sessions and get connected to the community information and resources that can help you adapt to the new life in Canada. Services are offered in English and other languages.
Planning for Canada provides pre-arrival orientation sessions to economic class and family class immigrants. They provide in-person and online services in English and French and are available worldwide.
