Diwali Mela

The City of Brampton invites residents and visitors to celebrate the Festival of Lights at its annual Diwali Mela on Sunday, November 8, from 4 to 10 p.m. at Sesquicentennial Park.

This free, family-friendly celebration will feature main stage performances presented by RBC, including a headline performance by renowned Punjabi singer Sukhshinder Shinda, an opening performance by Vandana Kaur and vibrant cultural performances. Attendees can also explore an array of delicious food vendors and activities for all ages. The festivities will culminate in a spectacular fireworks display presented by Performance Auto Group and a dazzling drone show that will light up the sky. This exciting celebration is also made possible with the generous support of Bell, CAA, Primont, Mattamy Homes, TD and Tim Hortons.

On-site parking at Sesquicentennial Park is extremely limited. Residents are encouraged to plan ahead, allow extra travel time and use the free Brampton Transit shuttle service, operating every 30 minutes from Mount Pleasant GO Station, Sheridan College, Gore Meadows Community Centre and Brampton Soccer Centre. Shuttles to the park will run from 3:30 to 9:30 p.m., with return service from 4:30 to 10:30 p.m.
