Mentorship Guest Speaker

Workshop Details: Learn from a professional mentor about their career journey, workplace experiences, and insights into navigating the world of work. Participants will have the opportunity to hear about the speaker’s career path, challenges and successes, and lessons learned along the way. The session will encourage participants to ask questions, learn from real-world experiences, and gain practical advice they can apply to their own career and job search. By the end of the session, participants will have a better understanding of the value of mentorship and practical strategies for building confidence, exploring career opportunities, and achieving their professional goals.

Program Outline: COSTI has launched its Employment Related Services (ERS) program, offering workshops for Permanent Residents and Convention Refugees to build job-ready skills.
Additional workshop topics include resume writing, interview skills, networking, mentorship, and digital job search support, along with one-on-one counselling and resume screening.
