Preparing a Cover Letter & Reference Letter

Participants will explore the key components of a strong cover letter, how to tailor it to a specific job, and what to include in a professional reference letter. The workshop will provide practical tips and examples to help participants present themselves confidently and professionally to potential employers. By the end of the session, participants will have a better understanding of how to prepare strong letters that support their job search.
Program Outline: COSTI has launched its Employment Related Services (ERS) program, offering workshops for Permanent Residents and Convention Refugees to build job-ready skills.
Additional workshop topics include resume writing, interview skills, networking, mentorship, and digital job search support, along with one-on-one counselling and resume screening.
