Bridging the Gap – Pathways to Early Childhood Education Careers for Internationally Trained Professionals (ITPs)

This 10-week program supports internationally trained individuals with backgrounds in child development in becoming certified and employed as Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) or Early Childhood Assistants (ECAs) in Ontario. It includes career planning, certification training (CPR/First Aid, food handling, immunization), workplace preparation, individualized coaching, and hands-on placements in childcare settings. Participants should have at least a secondary school education and international training or experience in childcare or a related field.

The 4th cohort is scheduled to start on April 7, 2026, and registration is now open.
