Diabetic Education Workshop
This workshop is designed to provide essential information and support for individuals living with or at risk of diabetes.
The workshop will cover the following topics:

Understanding diabetes: An overview of different types of diabetes, including risk factors, signs and symptoms, causes, and the treatment of high and low blood sugar, as well as guidance on when to seek medical help.

Managing diabetes: Practical strategies for managing diabetes, including healthy eating habits, physical activity, blood sugar monitoring, foot care, eye care, and stress management.
Participants will also have the opportunity to discuss their concerns related to diabetes management.
Following the workshop, a holistic head-to-toe assessment will be offered, and participants may be connected with relevant community resources, including clinics, diabetes education programs, foot clinics, and eye clinics.
Interpretation in Spanish will be available.
