- Peel Region
The two largest employers in Peel Region are the two School Boards: the Peel District School Board and the Dufferin-Peel Separate (Catholic) School Board. Each of these School Boards reports that it has approximately 10,000 employees employed across Peel.
- City of Mississauga
As of March 2008, there were at least 27 employers in Mississauga who (each) employed over 1,000 workers. Twenty-one (21) of these were in the private sector; six (6) were in the public sector.
