Staying at a shelter is free and a temporary solution.
Shelters
A shelter is a safe place to stay for anyone who is homeless or who believes that they could be hurt or harmed by remaining in their home. Staying at a shelter is free and a temporary solution. Shelters offer counselling and group support on-site and can refer you to legal, health and other services.
Many shelters are for women who live with abusive partners.
