English as a Second Language for Students in School
The Peel District School Board and the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board offer English as a second language (ESL) programs for newcomer families. ESL classes may be beneficial if your child has little or no previous knowledge of English, but has attended school in your home country. There are schools that have ESL classes for students.
